Just some recent thoughts  about writing scenario for graphic novel.

I’m writing scenario for final chapter of  first volume of  my graphic novel.   Of course  it’s only begining I’ll have  to check it many times,  and then start drawing.

But even begining is quite difficult.

I think the key thing is  ballance. Ballance between characters – you can’t favour  one   and neglect the other. There’re characters you feel comfortable with, you know everything  about them, and others who aren’t definied  so good, you don’t ‘feel’ them.  And you have  to also describe them, show them, even if  you don’t know them completly.

Ballance  between talking  and action. I know  that you have  to interest the readers, show them emotions, action, strong characters. But there’re many scenes when characters just talk to each other, and  you also have  to make these scenes interesting.

Many  things  in scenario aren’t stable – characters’re  changing, scenes’re changing, your ideas’re changing. And you have  to control it. You quit some ideas and then go back to them. Some things seems very important and sudenly they don’t fit.

It’s  just some thoughts maybe  some people’ll find this interesting

Remember this page? Well layout isn’t completely  finished, but more or less it’s how it looks like.

As  I wrote before it’s page  from side story to graphic novel I’m currently working on. I’ll post whole side story  on the blog.

It’s urban fantasy, some dark themes, but also some humour.

I know it’s childish but couldn’t help myself Couple days ago Roddy Bottum form Faith No More  answered  me on Twitter, I asked him about Prague gig. I was so happy

I know I act like like an 11 year old Take That fan, or something, but I don’t care

Last week I was in Prague at another Faith No More gig in Tesla Arena. Mind-blowing performance, pure energy on stage again I had a  sitting place (fortunatelly quite close to scene) but went completely crazy anyway I wanted  to be in mosh pit so badly

Unfortunatelly I had no photos, here’s  link with pics I found searching the web.

I published rest of my ‘Iga& Lena’ strips in Queerbait #3 anthology by Carabosse Comics. The’re a bit old so I improved some drawings and re-lettered them.

Some news about my projects.I finished couple of shorts and currently I’m working on two graphic novels,  writing scripts, drawing character sketches, drawing side stories etc. One graphic novel is urban fantasy/horror/slice of life story, second one is school story – mix of realistic and a parody of typical schemes and cliches from shoujo-ai mangas. I’ll post all news at blog.

I’m lazy but not so lazy…

I’m still trying to draw more diverse faces and body types. Practice, sweet practice…

Looks like I have only one thing in my mind…

I was at Faith No More concert at Opener, it was really dream come true. I was nearly killed in mosh pit but  it was worth to see them so close

Gig in Berlin was awesome, but that was just fabulous to see them here, in Poland, I felt really fulfilled.

But of course I want more
